GALATEA Call for Services
This call aims at facilitating and supporting SMEs to carry out their innovation activities. It is estimated that 70 SMEs will be able to receive support in the form of Services from the GALATEA project.
GALATEA project identifies 22 Challenges distributed under 4 Blue Growth domains (Smart Ship, Smart Port, Smart Shipyard and Maritime Surveillance) and tackles
3 horizontal dimensions corresponding to EU priorities: Digital transition, Ecological transition and Circular economy.
SMART PORT: Blockchain. Artificial intelligence. Virtual reality. DLT – Distributed Ledger Technologies.
Drones. Autonomous vehicles. Automating. IoT – Internet of Things.
SMART SHIP: Sensors. Automated / autonomous vessels. Alternative fuels. Hybrid propulsion. Augmented and virtual realities. Big data. Early warning systems. Digital twins. Autonomous vehicles.
MARITIME SURVEILLANCE: Surveillance systems. Data managment. Optical or optronic cameras. Radar technologies. Earth observation. EGNOS. Drones. DLT – Distributed Ledger Technologies. Cyber security.
SMART SHIPYARD: 3D printing. 3D modeling software. Digital twins. Reverse engineering. Non-contaminating paints. Robotics. Data managment. IoT – Internet of Things. Precision positioning.
4 types of services will be provided to SMEs to enhance their business and development:
– business model elaboration,
– technology expertise,
– funding opportunities.
Who can apply?
– innovative European SMEs addressing challenges in one or several of the four Blue Growth domains of the GALATEA project.
-members of one of the clusters in the GALATEA consortium, or established/with a branch office in the GALATEA territorial scope (France, Greece, Poland, Romania and Spain).
