DIREKTION AWARDS OC1
The overall objective of DIREKTION is to sustainably establish a network in the community of Disaster Resilience (DRS) that will enhance the exchange and consolidation of knowledge, and will promote innovation, technology uptake as well as multi-stakeholder cooperation targeting European needs and objectives.

As part of this initiative, the 1st DIREKTION Awards aim to reward the best innovative solutions that address capability gaps in disaster resilience and meet the needs of responders.
This contest is also expected to stimulate the uptake of innovative solutions.
Critères d'éligibilité
This call is open to start-ups, SMEs, large companies, Research and Technology Organisations (RTOs), universities, Non-profit organizations (NGOs, Foundation,), Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs) from the European Union and Horizon Europe Associated Countries.
Only proposals in English will be admitted. Projects should be submitted by any legal entities (Startups, SMEs, laboratories), alone or in consortia of 2 entities.
Technologies clés
Ready-to-deploy technologies (TRL 8-9) addressing one of the 10 first responder common global capability gaps identified by IFAFRI (International Forum to Advance First Responder Innovation) (https://www.internationalresponderforum.org/services/capability-gaps).
Typologie de consortium
10 winners will be selected and awarded €10,000 each to support the communication and promotion of their solutions.
The official winners’ announcement will take place in late 2025, during a DRS Event. All awarded solutions will be showcased their solution at INTERSCHUTZ, June 2026 in Hannover, Germany.
